Holding down the fort
Mar. 17th, 2006 11:58 amOk, so how empty are your offices today? Of course, I realize this depends on where you work and whether or not your local team is in a championship game, but I'll bet all of you in office/cubicle land can see some effects of March Madness.
Nearly everyone I work with/near has disappeared to a downtown bar to watch the Iowa game.
It's easy to see why bazillions of dollars' worth of productivity are lost during March Madness.
Guess I won't feel too badly about leaving on the 3:45 bus this afternoon to meet the boy for corned beef and cabbage at the Buffet.
