bronwynrhSo I'm slowly getting my experiment going (again!). Heh.
I've decided I've had it up to here (um - here! Can you see where here is? Here!) with politics and debates. The vitriol from both the right and the left is just driving me nuts - and I'm not talking about politicians or celebrities or even anyone who's been on TV or in a newspaper.
I am also getting tired of hearing the fire alarms - this is the third time today - Hmmmm Do I go this time or not?
Not.
Ok, maybe I will, since there does appear to be smoke in the hallway :-)

I'm back! Friendly neighborhood firefolk have rid us of the smoke (again) and are resetting the alarms (again). I still have no idea what the source of the repeat traumas are.
Anyway.
I'm going to get my flow cells a-washing and then head out. I was going to go to the seminar today, but got distracted by a couple of people coming in and now I'm behind schedule and it's too late. Oh well.

Date: March 4th, 2003 07:10 am (UTC)I can't ever see what's going on outside of the lab... the windows are permanently blinded. It smells like smoke in my building, too, but that's because some brilliant person put the cement ashtray on the veranda out back, right below the FRESH AIR INTAKE VENT for the lab!!!!
Glad to hear everything got sorted out!
