You can still help

So I think all of you know that I think Palotta TeamWorks stinks. My bitterness is borne of the deep desire I had to do something truly worthwhile and helpful in supporting AIDS research in the Texas AIDS Ride. That desire was quite literally trampled into a dust of disappointment and shame. Yeah, I was ashamed of myself for thinking I could raise the amount of money required and ashamed that indeed, I couldn't.

I've been able to do just a little in helping Russ and Nicolle raise funds for the Avon 3Day Walk for Breast Cancer. I know most of you don't know Russ or Nicolle, and I know how hard it is to donate in the name of someone you never have (nor probably ever will) meet.

In spite of all that, I'm going to ask this anyway - If you can find $5, $10 or $15 to spare to donate to the cause, please do. I don't want to know whether you choose to do so or not (unless you feel you need to tell me), I just want to try and help Russ and Nicolle by asking.
