The school year started when?

The school year started at the end of August.

When are the insurance rosters due?

October 1st.

Are they in yet?

NO.

Will they be in soon?

NO.

Is there a huge backlog of claims in Dallas that can't be filled until every single department on campus gets their ass together and sends in their list of Academic Appointees (approximately 2000 all told)? Is it possible that one dink-ass could be fucking up my life and the lives of other people with huge medical bills?

YES

As usual, I am pushing $700 in medical bills due (and that's just my health center and Rx charges, never mind the doctor visits) and am getting absolutely no assurance that I will be reimbursed anytime soon. Reimbursed? How about provided with the money so that I can pay the bills in the first place?

This happens every year, twice a year. They barely get the lists in and the claims filled when the damn semester ends and they have to start all over again.

I want out of here so badly, it hurts. Oh yeah, that's why I have all these medical bills. >:-(

Do you really care?

So, I've read a lot of books and I've seen a lot of movies, but I know my repertoire has some holes in it. Now we know exactly where they are. However, I assert that these lists are nowhere near as good as they could be. I mean, really - the Harry Potter sequels could have been replaced with, oh Fahrenheit 451 and The Color Purple, The Handmaid's Tale and The Name of the Rose, if you ask me.

Nobody asked me. Shame on them.
