I need a fix
Jan. 26th, 2004 09:11 amSince I had to dig my car out of a snow drift and remove about 4 inches of snow from the windows and hood, I had no time to make coffee this morning. Now my ankles are wet from tromping through the drifts - at home and here on the street - so it doesn't seem the brightest thing to take another walk out in the nastiness for a cuppa java.
Oh, but I need my coffee fix. I want my coffee fix.
I want a Jeffrey fix too, by the way. If I'm lucky, I'll see him on Thursday. If I'm a little less lucky, I'll take Friday off and head down to Louisville for the weekend. If I'm extra lucky, I'll see him on Thursday AND spend the weekend with him in Louisville. Or here. Whatever, so long as we're together.
All right, that's it. I'm going to resort to buying the generic brand brewed-in-a-big-canister coffee in the mailroom.
Boy, you should all be sorry that you missed seeing my face just now as I opened my gaping maw in a huge yawn.
