Ok, ew.

First of all, I don't want to know how many women Wilt Chamberlain slept with during his tenure with the NBA. I don't want to imagine Wilt Chamberlain in any sexual situation at all, thank you.

Second, what is the world coming to? Dave Chapelle had a skit on the topic of sex consent contracts for celebrities. Ha ha ha funny! But wait - here we are at a surreal criss-crossing of satire and reality.

And oh, what a frightening reality it is.

In other news, I'm still working my butt off. I am *this close* to selling my house, have written several letters to potential future postdoctoral advisors, have evaluated about half of my class' lab notebooks, and written another page in one of my MANY manuscripts.

And oh yeah, there's that small matter of ANOTHER department presentation next Tuesday.

Ack!

I leave tomorrow for Louisville, and then Thursday Jeff and I will fly to Houston for a few nights with my family and some old childhood friends.

It's a whirlwind time and I'm doing my best to keep all those balls in the air. I'm not a good juggler, by the way, but I seem to be scraping by. I still need to crank it up a notch, but maybe if I get the house out of the way, I'll be able to focus a little better.
