Holy Carp!
Sep. 20th, 2007 05:36 pmIt is possible, after all, to get a decent picture of ourselves!

I'll just do the "show" part of "show-and-tell" now, since the Young Master is practicing his vocal exercises.
The little man is ready to hit the streets for some shopping!

He looks serious now, but that's because General Sherman is right behind us and FAO Schwartz is just ahead. Samuel is patiently waiting for mommy's feet to rest so we could all get down to some serious teddy-bear hunting.

And oh yes, there was a wedding and a small reunion of boarding school friends. Here are Eleanor, Sarah, Maggie, and me - as if no time had passed, at all.

There was also a parade of Germans, a troupe of Hessians, another troupe of Laplander-looking folk and whole host of other wonders for the People Watching enthusiast.
And I haven't even mentioned the spectacular 7-course tasting menu (complete with fois gras and sweetbreads - not on the same plate, mind you) and wine pairings at Alto. Scrum-diddli-umptious!
Ok, the Young Master insists on an audience. Off I go.
