Tempus Fugit

bronwynrhSamuel is 7 months old, today!
In the last week he learned how to crawl, and knows how to go from a crawl to a sit and back again. Not satisfied with that level of mobility and his newfound access to Everything, he's also trying to pull himself up. He'll make it up onto his knees, walking his hands up the face of whatever wall or piece of hard furniture he can find. Sadly, he has not figured out how to balance himself all that well, and so he has a nice little goose-egg - well, a robin's egg anyway - on his forehead.
Samuel also enjoys climbing, and I hope to create a mountain of soft stuff for him to climb and roll down from - just so he can practice on something that isn't as tip-able as the plant stand he scaled a few nights ago.
For all his athleticism, Samuel is not much interested in speech. He talks, don't get me wrong, but he's a vowel man, still. Only the occasional Ma or Ba slips out, but for the most part it's a whole lot of aaaAAAAaaaaah!
AND AND AND I'm AN AUNT!!!!
I just found out that my sister-in-law had her baby last night!!!
