Boyohboyohboy am I tired!
I stayed up late chatting with a Certain Someone :-D whose voice I've been waiting to hear. 'Twas very very cool, even though I was drowsy. Next time, I promise to be less drowsy and, well, more lucid, ok?
Now it's almost 11:30 and I'm still in my nightie and robe - unbreakfasted, even.
I've managed to bring the trash can in, filled up the water fountain in the yard and started a load of laundry, but I still need to do the shopping and of course. . . GO TO THE LAB.
Never a day off there unless I force it.
Must. Get. Moving.

I haven't told you folks about the strange saga of IU's accounting and payroll practices, so perhaps I'll share that with you soon. It's all about how I managed to be paid for July and August on May 15, but not paid for June until May 30th. And how I'm being paid $500 less than most of the other students in the department, in addition to having to pay fees and social security, in effect meaning that I see about $1500 less than those students.
And I won't be paid again until September. . . Yeah. That's fun, ain't it? And there are a few students who are paid even less.
So there's that story in a nutshell. Bleh.
No reason to wonder why I want this paper so badly. No reason to wonder why I want to get the hell out of here sooner rather than later.
No reason at all.
