and some good news.

My new appraisal came in this morning *drum roll please*. . . at 105k!!! Hallelujah! I was doing the dance of joy this morning after my broker gave me the news. That means I'll have about $26k in equity and NO mortgage insurance to pay. Yippee! Low low mortgage payments, here I come!

I'd like to take Steve's appraisal now and tell him right where he can put it. }:-) Har. When I get back from my trip, I'm going to call his supervisor to complain, then, since I don't expect any satisfaction, I'm going to send my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I didn't give you guys the full run-down, but I'll just leave it at this: Steve didn't just under-value my house. He purposely undervalued my house, and he did an improper appraisal. There are discrepancies and problems galore in my appraisal from him, and it's worthy of a formal complaint. He's lucky I'm not suing.

The other good news is that I'm leaving for my trip to New Hampshire in the morning. Early early early in the morning! So I'm taking off right after lab meeting this afternoon to grab lunch with Dave, and then I'm going to run some errands, pack, and get to bed early.

I hope to leave the house by 3:30am. Yes, that's right. 3:30am. It'll take me an hour to get to the airport, and my flight leaves at 6. Hoo-boy and I'm going to be tires. I just hope I can sleep tonight.

So this will be my last post for a few days. I'll be back on Monday.
Ya'll be good, now!
