Where'd it go, George?
Jul. 27th, 2003 10:19 amWhere did my weekend go?
I haven't done any laundry, I haven't done any yard work. The grocery shopping still needs to be done. I had an icky dinner on Friday and then. . . spent quite a bit of time on the phone :-D
Saturday, I slept in. I had to recover from my late night phone chat, you see. Then I spent most of the day lounging about the house with snuggly-wuggly kitties who are quite tightly bonded to me, now. By the way, I don't think little Rosalind cares much for her Amoxicillin. It must disagree with her, because although it seems to have cleared up the problem it was supposed to clear up. . . she's really feeling under the weather. Poor kid. Franklin is pretty much right as rain, and has decided he likes me very much. He was a snuggle-bear yesterday and has now manifested an oral fixation.
He was sucking on Rosalind's tail, and on the seams on my bathrobe. *sucksucksucksucksuck* He sounded like a nursing infant. Hilarious! I'm now wondering if there's any such thing as kitty binkies.
After a day of abject laziness, I went into work for about an hour, got a migraine, then went home. Then realized I was hungry and went out for *gasp* Taco Hell.
Yes, I know, gross. I'm sorry, ok?
Then I got a little phone call, and hung up somewhere around 1:30 in the morning.
I think that makes my phone tally this weekend somewhere around 6 hours. Is that right Jeff? I at least used cell phone minutes that I'd already paid for. I feel badly for Jeff, who's going to take the brunt of the phone bill pain :-)
Back to IM?
Back to work, actually. I'm going to put in a couple of hours, at least. We'll see if Joey comes in - he's supposed to.
Meh. Boy, the Caymans sound really good right now!
