Charitable what?

bronwynrhSome of you may remember a few years ago when I was trying very very hard to raise money and train for the Texas AIDS Ride.
You may also remember that I was unable to go, mostly because I was unable to raise enough funds. Yes, it's not the spirit of your charitable action that counts, it's the dollar amount.
Well now I have a friend who was planning to go to the Avon 3-day Walk for Breast Cancer out in LA. He and his wife were going to bring with them the names of people they and we have known and loved who have died of cancer or who are currently fighting it. It seems that a fund shortage will again be a problem, as the Walk organizers (the same who ran the Palotta TeamWorks Texas AIDS Ride) are denying the Ungers the right to walk.
Please follow this link, and if you agree that what Palotta is doing is wrong, send the email Russ has set up for that purpose. Let's raise a stink!
