My biology dept. account has a spam filter on it, but my account there hasn't worked since I moved here in '99. Sooooo I use the university system and will continue to suffer the spam until they get around to filtering.

I used to have a hotmail account for non-work mail. One of the reasons why I stopped using it, and set up my own mail server was the number of spam e-mails. I was getting as many as 50 or 60 spam mails a day......now, I get perhaps a couple a day. Worth the minor hassle and cost.
