Help me out with something, please?
Jan. 13th, 2004 09:04 amJeff's flight from PuDong left China at 1.45pm local time. That's, what? 12:45 am my time, right?
Ok, so he sets down in Chicago at 5.20pm, after passing through San Francisco. . . oh oh oh. Waitaminnit. I just answered my own stupid question. I thought he got to San Francisco at 5:20. That would be 8.20 here, right? I was thinking, how's he gonna get from San Fran to Louisville in 10 minutes?!? He's landing in Louisville at 8.30pm tonight.
Wow. My brain was really hurting over this one. I'm glad I read the itinerary so carefully the first time.
stupid girl
Annoyed girl, too. I signed up for 15+ hours this week on the confocal microscope. I have about 20 or so gigs of data I need to transfer, rename, convert, and transfer back. So I went downstairs about an hour ago, turned on the computer and found only 3.65 gigs free on a 40 gig hard drive. About half a dozen people are taking up almost 1/3 of the hard drive space because they haven't been offloading their images.
3.65 gigs is not nearly enough to transfer 3.7 gigs of 16-bit images, then convert them to 8-bits. Yeah. You can't fit a gallon of water into a 1/4 cup measuring cup.
Thanks for wasting my morning and delaying my work, folks. I really appreciate it.
