bronwynrhTried to get my 5th day samples on the microscope, but the laser wouldn't come on.
Fanfuckingtastic. My experiment, that has taken almost 2 weeks already in preparation and data collection, is about to be destroyed on the penultimate day.
My cat is still missing.
It was confirmed yesterday. I will not be paid anymore. I still have $500-something coming to me at the end of this month, but that's it. Kinda makes the 14-15h days look even more bleak, you know?
Time to sit down with Jeff and figure out what we're going to do. Of course, we'll be doing this in the pitch dark and oppressive heat because he and 40 thousand other Louisvilleans are still without power.
I feel sick, but then again, I've been feeling this way since Tuesday. I plow ahead with the work, since there's still so much of it, and I get loads done, but it's never enough.
