Well, here I am. Back in Bloomington, back on my own computer, in my own house.

Wes, I don't know if you remember to check out my page, but here's a shout-out to you, if you do! And heck, even if you don't, I'm sending mojo to you all the time. And here's a request to everone who reads this: send good mojo to Wes.

I was down-and-out with migraines for a goodly portion of my vacation in Houston (are we surprised?), but I had a good time while I was headacheless. I was able to read a couple of very good books and watched some great movies with the folks.

Since I spent so much time in bed or on the couch, I didn't get to see my friends (Tiffany, Tania and Wes) as I had planned, but I did get some much-needed relaxation after a very tough semester. I'll just have to be satisfied with that.

I'll be getting back to the business of research soon, getting ready for my presentation and committee meeting on February 7, and trying to get a paper out the door.

Time to get this year going!
