What brand/style are your favorite jeans?

I discovered while doing laundry last night that two of my five pairs of jeans have holes in them. These are of course the two newest additions to my wardrobe, purchased in haste last summer from Old Navy, so the holiness is not so surprising. Nevertheless, I cannot get by with just three pairs of pants.

Golly do I ever miss the joyous and carefree shopping days of 2003.

Alas, I am once again in dire need of bluejeans. My Levi 577s were long-ago discontinued, so I am in search of a new favorite. Tell me about yours.

Old Navy, actually. They always have my size, and they're not too expensive.

I get by on three pairs of jeans and two pairs of slacks (one black, one deep blue.) One pair of jeans I bought in Hungary. I'm struggling to get into them because I'm not as svelte now, with all the junk food that's available this side of the Atlantic.

I've got plenty of slacks, but they're mostly too nice for lab work. As for the Old Navy jeans, I hadn't had too much problem with them in the past - but they always stretch out a lot, and these last two pair just literally decided to bust open in all sorts of silly places.

Maybe I got a bad batch, and I'm certain that most companies simply don't make women's clothing as sturdily as they do clothing for men. O the injustice!
