I know some of the IU Biology Hoosiers out there have seen lectures on HPV research - the cancer that can result from infection, developing vaccines. . .

Well guess what? When the vaccine arrives, it's going to be hard to get it to everyone. *ARGH*

By the way - I may post something more journalish soon, but life is being a royal pain and I haven't felt posty. So there you have it. Besides, I'm giving a talk today that has me a little frizzled and I'm working on an experiment that has me similarly frizzled. Home and work are just frizz-frazzling. Thus the writing hiatus. Tired of beating the dead horse.

If the man gets the sweet looking job *knock wood* that he's interviewing for, we may have some cause for celebration. Here's to hoping for one less thing to worry over.

Vaccines by definition are not the same thing as cures. So I doubt it. Besides which, this was for women who get cancer from HPV, not the men (who don't get cancer from it, but do get infected of course) who pass it on to the women.

I don't know about the men who give it to the men :/
Sorry. As far as I know there is no cure for hpv. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
