Goodbye, Wes

His life and mine just barely touched each other in time and space, but it was enough to leave a mark. He was a young man with a big heart and his courage was inspiring. He made me laugh, he made me blush, and we had fun together, even though we didn't have very much in common.

I will carry him with me forever.

I really feel for his parents. You know their feelings are really torn. There is the agony of the loss but the relief that the pain (for him) is over. They will have a tough time of it.

sometimes people who only touch our lives for a short space of time have the most important impact...it only takes a moment to change someones life...and these special people who come in and out of our lives like angels...however brief their stay was...have meaning...it is clear you were touched by this young mans life...and through you he has touched others too..a simple reminder how fragile are the lives of the ones we love...d. burr
