Ah'm breathin' fahr!

My fellow Texan and co-worker GB brought loads of jerky back from ol' Tejas. I just tried a nibble of the pepper turkey and now my mouth is on fire. Wowzer! I think I'll bring the rest home for Dad and Jeff to try. Jeff's a fan of pepper, but even this may be too much.

My noodly Creator's image has drawn laughter and joy from my labmates, and they have suggested I make the Noodly One into a brooch or barrette. Leave it to the boys to come up with brooches and barrettes. We'll see :) For now, his image is set as the screen saver on my cell phone.

Bad migraine finally killed yesterday. Not enough sleep. No coffee. Yawning and drowsy me.

Except for the fact that, y'know, the three minute long routine would require a fifteen minute explanation after the fact, like something out of A Mighty Wind ;)

I hope I never see a burlesque routine that requires a Powerpoint presentation after the fact. "No, see, it was funny because...."

I should have known better than to go for the pepper. Stupid me.

And there's no coffee because some dimwit decided that we dedicated few don't deserve barista-served coffee between Christmas and New Year's. The cafe's in my building and the one next door are both closed.

I might just get desperate enough to walk all the way over to the hospital for some joe. I really needs mah joe!
