My mole holes are healing, I guess, but they itch like mad. The doc just called to tell me they looked good, no baddies, but also told me the cortisone cream I used last night and this morning will slow healing. He suggested the itching may be an allergy to the antibiotic ointment (common, apparently) and that I should stick to vaseline.

Okie doke.

I have a slice on the tip of my left index finger from I-don't-know-what. It doesn't hurt, but I can feel it popping open and shut. Creepy.

I dreamed about Christie last night, and it was good. We snuggled.

I also dreamed about Jeff last night. Miss him.

Busy day today in the lab.

Got a condolence card from the emergency vet, but no word yet on the return of Christie's ashes. Now I'll be looking for a pretty box for her.

Making good progress on the patent bar prep.

Making excellent progress on the afghan project. . . and I've got yarn in the wings awaiting a log-cabin afghan. This weekend though, I'll work on the cross-stitch project.

That's it. Can't even be bothered to write in complete sentences, today.

Patent bar prep... so you just prep and then take the test. No law school? or is this another area?

Yep. Pass the test, and I can register as a patent agent.

I'd only go to law school if I wanted to be a patent attorney, which I don't really feel the need to do. . . especially if I'd have to pay for it!

There is a company in L'ville I'd like to work for - they're a "business lab", where they help inventors go from idea to production. The problem is, I can't find anything regarding hiring. I have no idea how that sort of thing works in the business world.

I'm hoping I can make some networking connections to get a foot in the door.
