Five Guilty Pleasures. . .

1. Mr. Bear and the Blankets. No, they're not a band, they're my sleeping buddies. Next to Jeff, of course! Mr. Bear was rescued from a crowded shelf at Walgreens last year, during an after-Valentine's Day sale. He's soft to the touch and very squishy. The Blankets have been a part of my sleep ensemble for all my life. I sleep with the whole group in a tangled bundle under my arm, although I sometimes awake with them draped over my face.
Yes, I am almost 29 years old, and I sleep with Mr. Bear and the Blankets.
2. Distributed Proofreaders. This is a relatively new guilty pleasure of mine. It feeds my reading addiction, my editing compulsion and my tendency toward procrastination.
3. Flannel sheets and feather beds. My favorite place in the world is my bed. Sad but true. Nothing feels better to me than sinking into those feathers and wrapping myself in flannel. Of course, wearing as little as possible and curling around the gang from item #1 make this one of my favorite guilty pleasures.
4. Cross-stitch and Crochet. For some reason, I like to keep my hands busy, even though I am an all-around slug. I do lazy well, but I do it better when I've got my projects in my hands. I cross-stitch until I can't concentrate any more, then I switch to mindless crochet.
5. Cooking. This isn't really a guilty pleasure I suppose, except for the fact that my favorite things to cook (and my forté, apparently) are the guilty pleasure comfort-foods. Smashed 'tatoes, pasta sauces, cookies, cakes. . . you get the idea.
I don't usually tag, but I'm curious :)
