My Valentine's Day Plans. . .
Feb. 14th, 2003 08:25 amAs of right now, at least. . .
Well for the day time it's the usual sort of stuff, with a little detour. I have an appointment with my dental hygienist at 11am, after which I thought I'd treat myself to a pizza and lemonade lunch. That's right, assault my teeth right after they've been cleaned!
Then all afternoon I'll be doing microscopy work, gathering data.
So when it comes to evening plans. . . it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, that I don't have a date. I'm a perfectly datable gal, but I've just not been "out there" enough to meet anyone, so I'm dateless this Valentine's Day.
So what? I really wouldn't want to be out and about tonight considering the crazy-nasty weather that's bearing down on us right now, and considering the crazy-nasty crowds that will be out-and-about town already :-)
What I'm thinking' right now is this: I'm thinking' I might go pick up a bottle or two of my favorite beverage ;-) and order a sandwich from Dagwood's. I think I'll have that sandwich delivered to my lab, where I'll plop myself down in front of the computer and figure out a rather complicated data analysis program.
Why?!? You ask.
Because if I don't do this on my own, I will have to do it in a group, with a Certain Someone (tm) who can be very difficult, and my boss. Methinks that would be more stressful than doing it alone accompanied by a couple of beers :-)
I dunno. That's my plan as of 8:23am. We'll see if anyone else (or some other part of my brain) comes up with a better idea and can convince me otherwise before I implement this plan.
Happy Friday, and Happy February 14th!

I've got plenty for you - of a most "appropriate sort" mind you - and am only too happy to let you know. :)

Thank you so much for that lovin' feelin'. I feel warm and fuzzy now - in a most "appropriate" way, of course.
