At least I know why it feels as though my head is in a vice and my brains are trying to come out my forehead.

Ugh.

Mine too!

I sent the RSVP in the mail today. Sorry I won't be able to attend; I will be just returning from Japan at that time. So my excuse is good. ;-)

Thank you for inviting me! That is the most beautiful envelope that I have ever seen.

I'm glad you liked it, and I'm very sorry that you won't be able to come. It would have been a great way to meet you!

Well, maybe some day you can come to my wedding instead. ;-)

No, we're not to that stage yet -- but we are talking about moving in together this summer when his lease expires. And when we were watching a TV sitcom about a tacky marriage proposal, he turned to me and said with sincerity, "You had better come up with a very romantic circumstance when you propose." In my shock, I replied "Who says I have to be the one who proposes to you?" (And he claims he isn't the girl in the relationship...)

Well that last bit of information borders on TMI :) But it does raise an interesting question about who is expected to be the proposer in a same-sex relationship.

Of course, when Jeff gave me the ring, he didn't ask me. I asked him. He waited until we were back home in Louisville, at our favorite restaurant and in our favorite booth before he asked me.

So maybe you can propose to each other.

I hope you do find forever together. It feels very good.

Ah, so you're awake dark and early too!

Jeff had to get up at 5 to be at work by 6 this morning. I didn't even try to stay in bed.

We had a doozy of a storm all night long.

I'm in Louisville, Kentucky. That big red blotch of doom flew over our heads last night. Noisy!

Today, constant, depressing, headache-inducing rain. Whee!

Where you at? Are you dry?
