No, I don't really look like this, but I feel as though I do!

My belly's grown an inch in the last 10 days. At least that means my chest no longer lead me into a room.

Our Thanksgiving was quiet - I spent four days home alone, since Jeff had to work throughout, but we did manage to have some good time together.

I've started on my thank you notes, but need to pick up the pace.

I submitted the Big Grant on Monday, and can finally get back to doing the work I was hired to do, although now the guys want me to help them write *another* grant. So my on-site "boss" and my on-campus "bosses" are playing a little game of tug-of-war with me. It's nice to be wanted.

May I take a nap now?

I'm so glad that you're much happier at the new job!

What is your husband doing now?

He's going to be area supervisor for a PJs franchisee. Back to pizza he goes! The expectation is that we'll get to see each other, oh, conscious from time to time. We don't have that luxury now :-/

Oops - because NOW, he's working for a buffet restaurant and they've got him working 65+ hours a week. And he's working with a bunch of dinks who'd rather tread water than swim. And he's tired of it. And so am I.

So. Onto PJs!

You just reminded me that my "to do list" includes "Wedding gift for Bronwyn and Jeff". I'm only a month late.

That's quite alright. Better to space them out, so we're not buried in boxes.

Are you using cocoa butter to prevent stretch marks? I used it and only have 2 small ones on my left side. Those are from the first pregnancy. Didn't get any more during the second although they were so close together that my skin was probably still stretched although I was able to get into a pre-pregnancy shirt waist dress a week after the first delivery.

Yes, I'm using a cocoa butter lotion on my hips and belly and chest. I already have some stretch marks from previous weight changes, and am trying to minimize any more.

Also, I love shirt waist dresses. I want some! I'd hoped that Evelyn may have some in her closets (since we all know she has about 5 decades worth of wardrobe!), but I don't know if she and/or Bill would be willing to share.

Actually, I get her clothes which means you get the shirt waists (if I find any). Probably going over the end of January for a week so I'll see what is there.
