I've got a cold. Mom says it serves me right, seeing as how she had a cold the entire time she was pregnant. My retort?

"Lady, I've puked more than enough to make up for your silly little cold."

Hrmph. Here's to hoping it doesn't last through the next three months.

Ok, I'm heading out for home. Girl needs a nap. Baby boy needs to stop kicking me in certain places. O_o

Four days off! Wheeeeee!



My only good news is that I made my first bonus. Wow. An honest to goodness, real Christmas bonus. This real world stuff is pretty damn sweet.

I have never received a bonus in my life. One of the disadvantages of working in higher education and public libraries. :-(

I've never received a bonus either.

But I did win a fairly lame set of candles at our fairly lame holiday luncheon. (And apparently proved that you don't need to attend the luncheon to win the raffle.)

the one thing i really, really miss about where paul worked before were the quarterly/christmas bonuses! they're marvy, aren't they? you enjoy that money and buy....buy...
