Tidbits and general dullness

My poor eyeballs are miserable today. Must be time to toss the contact lenses. *rubrubrub*

SamPatrick went to his first concert on Saturday, a choral and orchestral presentation of music from The Lord of the Rings. He seemed to enjoy it, as he was dancing and rolling throughout the first half. He must have been tired after the intermission, though, because he danced a bit less. Then again, after the last battle, things turned rather lullabye-ish so it's not surprising that baby and I were ready to doze. It was also 10:30 by that point, far beyond our bedtime :)
I seem to be growing bigger by the day, although I still don't think the average onlooker would say, "wow! She's REALLY pregnant!" I feel him all the time, and by the end of the day feel quite bruised, as the little blackbelt enjoys kicking my ribs and pelvic bone. He kicks the inside of my hip and does a long, slow roll before going after my ribs.
He stands up, pushing out against my tummy where his daddy can see the lump. "He must be over here," Jeff says, patting my asymmetric bulge. And yet, there are still moments when I forget, when it can't be real.
Then I realize that I'm waddling, and the moment passes.
He and I have met in my dreams, and I think I'm starting to fall in love.

I must lasso my poor wandering mind and get down to business.
