Still no birth story to share, but I've really just been enjoying what remained of my husband's week off. If, by "enjoying" you mean "crying because baby wasn't eating well and then my breasts turned into a couple of excruciatingly painful honeydew melons and I wanted to to give the whole thing up".

I feel much better today though, although the day turned out to be very stressful. More long stories.

Hm. Things I have to share:
1. birth story
2. how my OB/gyn's office staff royally screwed me
3. how I (apparently) am responsible for the death of our neighbors' son.

No, really.

4. how this 6.4 lb wonder has changed my world, and
5. how the reality has yet to set in

I'll get around to all that eventually, I guess.

OMG! He's so adorable. (cute is for puppies and I'm not "in-touch" enough with my feminine side these days to call him beautiful).

I can't wait to meet the little guy, and Diana is already looking at the calendar to see when she might get a chance to hold the little fella.
