I just wanted to post a few more recent shots of Samuel. He's one week shy of 6 months old... I can't believe it. He's a riot of fun... except when he's practicing his vocal exercises, at which times I (and everyone else within earshot, including every dog in the county) become quite addlepated.

He's very close to crawling, but for now he's stuck doing pushups, bellyflops and the butterfly stroke :) He's got a giggle that can cheer the grumpiest gus and a smile that really does light up a room. It melts my heart that he reaches for us, hugs us, snuggles with us... what an amazing thing, to watch him grow like this.
