Samuel pictures

I just wanted to post a few more recent shots of Samuel. He's one week shy of 6 months old... I can't believe it. He's a riot of fun... except when he's practicing his vocal exercises, at which times I (and everyone else within earshot, including every dog in the county) become quite addlepated.

He's very close to crawling, but for now he's stuck doing pushups, bellyflops and the butterfly stroke :) He's got a giggle that can cheer the grumpiest gus and a smile that really does light up a room. It melts my heart that he reaches for us, hugs us, snuggles with us... what an amazing thing, to watch him grow like this.

I do need to get onto Flickr... I set the camera on the "action" setting thinger and take lots of pictures in a row. It's fun to watch him in action that way.

I took a video of him with the banana, too - I'll post that one tonight.

It's a combination of Superman and the butterfly. He'll balance on his tummy and raise his limbs... he looks like he's trying to fly.

I considered it, but then I'd have had to carry our underwear on my lap.

And thank you. When he was born, his hair was dark like his daddy's, but it quickly lightened up and now it's just like mine.
