I'm about to gather up my things and leave for Columbus for that meeting. First stop will be the Oldham County Courthouse, where I'll renew my soon-to-expire license. This is nutty. I got a new drivers license last year because my old license was expiring and I needed to change my name. So why, on Harold's green earth do I need to renew it again, just a year later?

What a rip-off!

This evening, I'll try to figure out precisely what I'm going to say for 90 minutes tomorrow, then order some room service and take a bubble bath.

I suppose I may as well indulge a little, to take the sting out of missing my boys. This is the first night I'll spend apart from Samuel, and already I don't like it.

Oddly enough, I am equally concerned about my talk as about how well I'll do standing for 90 minutes straight. That sounds like a fainting spell, to me O_o

Shift your weight, walk around and breathe. That should, I hope, do the trick.

I've got butterflies in my stomach, and it's not the baby - although I can feel the baby kicking rather frequently now. No, the butterflies are stress, upset and anxiety, each for a different reason. Lucky me, I'll have almost 4 hours in the car to stew over all of it.
