bronwynrhDixon Louis was born on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1516. He weighed 7 lbs 14 ozs and was 20 1/2 in long.
With the help of my husband, mother, and a take-charge nurse, I delivered Dixon without any medications at all. It was the most incredible experience of my life - what I remember of it :)

Health benefits aside, my mom had us three in difft ways: In the first, she was knocked out cold; for the second she had twilight sleep; for the last (me!) she asked to try it without meds. She told me how awesome it was to be awake and alert going through it, and when I popped out IT WAS OVER...just me and her and she was awake and the pain had stopped and there was a baby in her arms.
Congrats to the four of you. What a perfect family you have!
