While the cat's away. . .

I've been sleeping in the past few days. Over the weekend, that meant I got out of bed around 10 or 11. . . or was it noon? Heh. I was awake, but I was comfortable and not all that hungry, so I just hung out in bed and watched a movie. Lay-zee!

It felt good.

I managed to take care of the yard on Sunday during a break in the spring wetness, but other than that, my weekend was all about the relaxation, movie-watching, and shirt-buying at Old Navy.

Monday rolled around and I decided to sleep in a little. Why not? So for the past two mornings, I've been getting up at 7. . . ish instead of at 6 and I've rolled into the lab a little before 9.

It's not as though I have less work to do. I just don't feel like crunching myself the way I did last week. The cat IS away, after all :-D

Whatever. We all know I make my own rules, pretty much. I stress myself out, I collapse into a puddle of nonproductive goo when that's what I decide to do. It's the gear shift that usually causes me problems, right?

Heh.

Naw, I'm getting stuff done. I'm just doing it a little slowly. *streeeeeetch*

Right. Well, I guess I'd better be getting back to. . . doing. . . something.

Dunno - Clay's presenting the work in a session tomorrow. I may hear about it if he tells his wife anything, or I'll just hear about it when he gets back on Friday.
