bronwynrhOn Monday, I attended a Gillian Welch concert with Jeff and my friend Nate. Wowzerwowwowwow!
I wanted to watch their fingers fly over the strings, see the passion on their faces as Gillian and Dave sang, but more than anything, I just wanted to close my eyes and fly away on wings of sound and grace. I held onto Jeff, closed my eyes, and the world . . . disappeared.

srallen, Music is the one thing in the world that brings me joy, rapturous joy. When I have music around and within me, all my cares and worries dissolve away into nothing. Nothing else has ever - ever - been able to do that for me.
I think only love may be able sit aside music on my plane of joy, but as srallen pointed out, only music has been consistent and can be enjoyed alone.
This may be true, but love can be forever, once you find it - and then you'll never be alone again, and every song will only sound sweeter.
