Hey Bramey, I'm a frequent lurker of your blog, mostly because I used to read Roughy's blog all of the time.

The reason I'm finally replying is because you said you were coming to Canada and I wondered where.......and you're in my city!!! I live in Victoria and I think thats just the funniest thing that you're here. I had my inner stocker moment at the thought that the thing you would be going to would be at the Uvic Campus, where I'm an undergrad. Enjoy the Empress. It's one posh hotel. If you're looking to eat out one night, ask someone where Pagliacci's is. (south Broad St, near the hotel) Everyone's favourite restaurant.

Posh doesn't even begin to describe this place! Wow!

We're hanging out in the convention center at the back of the hotel, sitting in a dark room, listening to people talk about biofilms.

Biofilms biofilms biofilms.

All. Day. Long.

Ok, so I enjoyed about half of the day today, but I sure was pooped by the end.
