Let's say it together, now!
Dec. 1st, 2003 03:59 pmMega Life Sucks!!!
I just called MegaSuck with a list of claims stretching back to, oh, August 27 of this year. I have received a few reimbursements, but they have arrived out of order and with gaps in between - they'll pay claim A and B and E, but skip C and D.
So I talk to John who seems pretty befuddled, but may be moderately competent. He tells me that he can't find anything at all on my 8/27 claim. Nothing, not even a record of a check being cut. I'll go home tonight and double check all my papers to see if I can find it. If not, I'll have to reprint the receipt at the health center and resubmit and wait another, oh, month before I have any hope of seeing the money.
I also received a denial on a claim because they said it was a duplicate. Now, I don't know for certain, but REFILLS usually look basically the same from one month to the next. John is resubmitting that one.
I listed off a number of other claims, one of which was a complaint about a check I received in the amount of $13.99 for a $14 claim that was, according to them, "payable in full". Numbskulls.
All totaled up, I am currently waiting for $625.40 from this company run and staffed by imbeciles. I've already had to pay the credit card bill for some of the claims, and the rest is due on the 15th of this month.
Think I'll see any of the money before the bill is due?
If you think I will, I've got a bridge for sale. You interested?
