Yeah, I don't think I want to be on a plane flown by any kind of religious fanatic.

Bingo! You never know when they could decide to turn martyr. I swear, if I'd been on that plane, I'd have been calling the airline asking them to ground the plane and let me off!

Yeah, I saw that this morning. Makes me sick.

I'd be expecting some lawsuits out of this one. At least, there better be, considering people are suing over Janet's Boob. This is a far worse breach of etiquite (ok, stop laughing, I have NO idea how to spell that correctly and I'm to lazy to look it up).

It is certainly a more blatant breach of . . . something. . . than that eeny-meeny-miney-moe incident a few years back :-)

Reading that makes me feel icky.
Asking people to identify themselves based on religion sounds quite offensive.
The whole thing is.

Definitely inappropriate. Manny had a funny spin on it. http://www.livejournal.com/users/mannyvision/204890.html

10 minutes later. . . still laughing. I made a little contribution of my own, too. Thanks!

conversion under duress...not exactly what most people are looking for in an airline...fanatics such as he have caused all kinds of trouble in the world...from the taliban to the salem witch trials and on and on...will they never learn!

Why should they learn? They've got the world's only required textbook. . . the Holy Written Word.

That's really offensive for people on both sides of the issue.

Sure, I share... but only when someone will listen. Having people feel obligated to ask you about it is just going to be... weird.

You're right. Just shut up and fly the stupid plane.

Yep. You share when asked, or when you know party #2 is a willing participant in the conversation. This is the rule I follow regarding my own beliefs. It's the proselytizing by coercion that gets my goat.
