It's hard to write in a journal when all I have to say is, "I have far too much work to do, things that are out of my control (and a couple that are) keep going wrong and delaying my experiments, I have a migraine, and I still don't have a job".

Honestly folks, that's every day for me right now.

Even my fucking lawnmower isn't cooperating.

Not bitter, just stressed and in constant pain. It's hard to find words for it, and in any case I'd just wind up repeating myself. There's no point in that now, is there?

So yes I'm here, and no I'm not dead. *knock on wood*

Yes, I still have that crappy mower, although technically I DON'T have it because I gave it to the guy I paid to mow my lawn. He has a "friend" who's going to try to fix it.

Meanwhile, the grass is tall again and I need to pay him another $25 to mow.

I know I'll make it, thanks for the faith in me. It's just not going to be a fun ride.
