Christie's home.

According to Jeff's reports, she is covered in burrs but her pupils are no longer the size of dinner plates.

I can't go home until next Tuesday or Wednesday (if then), so I can't give her a bath or snuggle her for yet another long while, but at least I know she's safe.

Thanks for all your good kitty-wishes. I think she was terrified, but never strayed too far from her new home.

*phew*

We'll see. I just started The Big Experiment again. . . you know how that fubars my schedule.

:( I miss my granola.

I doubt I'd be able to do any evening stuff, but maybe lunch?

That could work. When is good for you? I'm free today for lunch, and friday. And all of your food is here... your granola included.

Amazing, isn't it?

I wonder how long it'll take her to settle in and get back to her version of Normal.

So happy my baby girl is home.

Me TOO!

It seems pretty unreal though, since I haven't been home almost the whole time. Out of 2 weeks absence, I was only home for 5 nights.

So I felt that she was missing, and it broke my heart while I was there, but being away from home made it seem very unreal. Not less worrisome, just unreal.

Glad your kitty is home safe. It's almost as bad as worrying about kids, I'm sure!

I certainly consider it good practice for kid-worrying!

Yay!

Now, if only cats could talk... wouldn't it be interesting to hear where she's been? Maybe she made the "Incredible Journey," just like in Disney, and we'll never know it!

Think she learned her lesson?

What, the lesson she should have learned 10 years ago when she got out, stayed away for a week until we found her up a tree. . . knocked up?

Doubt it.
