I finally managed to sew some more bibs for Samuel and I've posted one at Lizzypops. Since realizing it's better to post one new thing at a time, rather than all at once - to stay on top of the New Today! lists - I'm going to pace myself. Tonight I hope to post a cute pink bib for sale.

I also splurged $7 for a spot in Saturday's Children's Showcase. Maybe someone will buy, maybe not. But exposure can't be a bad thing.

I'm doing my utmost best to not grow impatient - these things take time, and I need the patience to improve my photography and grow my network, patience to let things go at their snail's pace without becoming frustrated and giving up. It's only been 2 months, after all.

My recent discovery that people will pay money for baby formula coupons has brought in a small amount of cash for me lately. It's not much, but considering the coupons were free to me, anything I receive for them is profit, free and clear. One of my auctions, for a pair of coupons worth $9, brought me $7. There's a market for everything, I suppose.

I wish I had other things to sell. I'm looking at several bags of clothing slated for charity and thinking, maybe... but probably not.

Not much else is going on - nothing worth journaling about, anyway.

Oh do, please! I'm happy to custom-size things, too... I just can't go nuts on inventory until I start selling :)

Coupons will only fund my habit so far, you know!

Ooh, I like all the aprons and bibs. I hadn't gone to look at your stuff before. Or if I had, I forgot. :P What's the little oval tag (you can see it on the dragonfly apron) at the bottom? A "made by" stamp?

I bought a custom stamp that says "Handmade Just For You - Bronwyn Hartung - lizzypops.shop@gmail.com" At the time, I didn't have the etsy shop, so no web address.

I bought permanent fabric ink and stamped up an old Wonder-Under'd pillowcase, cut out the medallions, ironed them on, and voila! Instant tag :)

Yes, it takes time to build up clientele and etsy can be a bit hit or miss. Your stuff is so cute though that I hope others can find you. Good luck for the showcase! :)

Thank you. With luck, it'll bring in a buyer - or two - or 50!

Heh.

I am determined to maintain low expectations so as to avoid any steep drops in confidence and to maximize the joy of any success :)

It's impossible to find time to do anything when you're a wife and a mom. How cute the bibs are!!! Good luck. I'll make sure to post the link around.

Thanks, please do!

I can find time, but by the time I find it, I'm too wiped to do anything with it :)
