Boy, that's just too funny.
Too, too funny.
Especially that first line. That's the best of all.

I just ate a fried-egg sandwich - two slices of bread with two, count'em two fried eggs and even some cheese. I also had a little icky pasta salad from Marsh on the side. My tummy wasn't hurting too badly for the first time in a long time, and I managed to eat the whole sandwich and almost 1/3 c. of the pasta salad. Of course, that will help with the day's calorie count - but it certainly won't do much for the electrolyte imbalance. I still feel a bit wonky, but at least I'm not in pain.

One Carnation, One Ensure and dinner. Hmmm. Well, it's a start, at least.

Hey. I'm trying, and I won't see a nutritionist until the 4th. For those of you reading this and saying, "huh?!?" I'm sorry. This is sort of more for me than anything else. I need to keep track somehow.

I'm curious. When did you decide to lose weight? I remember back when I was thinking about dropping a few extra pounds you had a lot to say about the matter here. I know a lot of it was about starving myself, which I thought about and was smart enough not to do. I'm worried that some of the things you are saying sound like you're not eating enough. I could be totally off base though, don't get me wrong. I just thought you might want to go back and read what you said to me and make sure you're following your own advice.

And I remember you posting a picture of yourself in a bikini here and I have to say you don't look like you need to lose a pound.

I have to finish up my manuscript this morning, so I don't have time to talk too much about this. . .

I haven't been doing it on purpose. My appetite has gone to pot - completely. To the point where I often can't stand to eat a thing, even my favorite things. In the last month and a half or so, I think I lost almost 10 or so more pounds and started to feel sick all the time, so I went to see the doctor. Keep in mind, I'd already lost 10lbs since December because of my migraine medication.

Maybe an ulcer, definitely an electrolyte imbalance now. Don't know the exact cause yet of the stomach pain, but now I'm probably in one of those feedback loops. Still trying to eat with occassional success and frequent failure. This morning, I tried two slices of toast with margarine and strawberry butter, only managed one slice. An hour and a half later, at work, I'm still eating the other slice. :-/

I'm in less pain, thanks to a Zantac generic, but still feel slightly sickish and weakish and still have no desire to eat whatever I put in front of myself. Sometimes the desire comes back and I do well. Most times, it doesn't.

132 to 112 and counting. Wheeeee! I'm in no danger weight-wise, just the nutrition and electrolyte thing is a problem. So I need to get that squared away, and I'll be hunky-dory.

This is going to take some work.

No, I am not doing this on purpose. No, this is not an eating disorder. This is definitely physiological, although it is probably at its root stress-related.

Not fun.

I would write a LONG descriptive email to these 3 addresses and let them know how you feel. I'm still looking for more addresses. Need to squeek at some folks higher up. Why aren't you eating? You said a few days ago something about an ulcer...
